Project Redstone stands as a groundbreaking milestone in Australia’s immersive entertainment landscape. Created in collaboration with Ignition Immersive, this venue was purpose-built to host 18 live-streamed VR gigs on their Inverse Platform, redefining how audiences experience live performances.
Designed and constructed by the Canopy Creative team in just 8 weeks, the venue was transformed using reclaimed wood and timber, crafting a speakeasy-inspired atmosphere within a historic Melbourne building.
This innovative space successfully welcomed hundreds of guests and performers, marking Australia’s first-ever 360° VR live stream. Complete with projection mapping, multi-camera perspectives, a fully operational bar, kitchen, and front-of-house setup, Project Redstone delivers an unforgettable experience—both physically and virtually.
